I'm worried after reading these comments! Now I can use a different product, and I'm nervous that my dog could hurt only 4 pounds. Suggestions?

Wash as soon as possible. Use a mild detergent like Dawn dish soap, and make sure you have everything out. Please note that the dog misbehaves, please call the vet ASAP.
